How big can you print it?
Standard frame sizes, turned to match the artwork. "Crops" is how much of the picture you lose filling that frame edge to edge — or keep it all and let a mat take up the difference.

The ticket
Woodblock for Samson Rending the Lion is a painting by Albrecht Dürer (German, Nuremberg 1471–1528 Nuremberg), dated ca. 1497–98. Pear wood. Size on the museum record: 15 3/8 in. × 11 in. × 1 in. (39.1 × 27.9 × 2.5 cm). The Metropolitan Museum of Art holds it in its Drawings and Prints collection — Gift of Junius Spencer Morgan, 1919.
The Met released its scan under CC0, which means no permission, no fee and no credit line required. That file is 1,339 × 1,829 pixels — 2.4 megapixels — good for a gallery-sharp print up to 4.5 × 6.1 in. That is bigger than the painting itself, which measures about 1 × 11 in — the file holds more detail than you can see standing in front of the original.Paintings reproduce best on matte paper. Gloss throws glare across exactly the brushwork you came for, and a picture light does more for a print than any upgrade in paper.
