How big can you print it?
Standard frame sizes, turned to match the artwork. "Crops" is how much of the picture you lose filling that frame edge to edge — or keep it all and let a mat take up the difference.

The ticket
Madonna and Child is a painting by Titian (Tiziano Vecellio) (Italian, Pieve di Cadore ca. 1485/90?–1576 Venice), dated ca. 1508. Oil on wood. Size on the museum record: Overall 18 x 22 in. (45.7 x 55.9 cm); painted surface 17 x 21 1/2 in. (43.2 x 54.6 cm). The Metropolitan Museum of Art holds it in its European Paintings collection — The Jules Bache Collection, 1949.
The Met catalogs Madonna and Child as an oil on wood by Titian (Tiziano Vecellio). The museum dates it ca. 1508, and files it under accession 49.7.15 in European Paintings. The subject is a person, so the face is the anchor. Hang it with the eyes near the centre line instead of floating high on the wall. The Met's scan measures 4,000 × 3,265 pixels, which prints about 13.3 × 10.9 in at 300 dpi and 26.7 × 21.8 in at a still-comfortable 150 dpi. Its wide proportions sit naturally over a sofa, console or bed, and the crop figures in the set builder show what a standard frame would trim. Its warm reds and oranges suit walnut or gold, which deepen the glow instead of washing it out. Paintings reproduce best on matte paper, since gloss throws glare across exactly the brushwork you came for. A warm picture light a few inches above the frame does more for a print than any paper upgrade, and the hanging centre line belongs near 57 inches.
The Met released its scan under CC0, which means no permission, no fee and no credit line required. That file is 4,000 × 3,265 pixels — 13.1 megapixels — good for a gallery-sharp print up to 13.3 × 10.9 in. The painting itself measures about 22 × 18 in, so a true life-size print runs below 300 dpi — still sharp at normal viewing distance.Paintings reproduce best on matte paper. Gloss throws glare across exactly the brushwork you came for, and a picture light does more for a print than any upgrade in paper.
